2020, A Challenging Year

With the COVID-19 pandemic, we have had to be creative with our programs and meetings.  We have conducted board meetings via Zoom.  For the second year in a row we did famous women reenactments but this year we did in on Zoom.  Participants chose a famous woman who has made a significant contribution in science, healthcare, education, engineering, the arts, etc. and is known for promoting and advancing equity for women and positive societal change.  We each became this woman and shared facts and clues about her life and accomplishments.  The rest tried to guess who we were.  We had a wonderful time!  We couldn’t be together physically, but we could still be together mentally.

We are moving forward with plans for our August picnic at Crook Farm.  Hopefully, we are able to enjoy a meal together with practical social distancing in place.

Anyone interested in joining us, email our current membership VP Diane Gardner at dfg5@atlanticbb.net.
